Smudgedheart was laughing so hard as he watched Reflectedpaw he nearly fell in himself. "No! Wait! Reflectedpaw don't!" he laughed. "You'll scare all the fish out of the stream! Then no one will be able to get them!"
There was one good thing though, she was scaring all the fish towards him! He flashed his paw in randomly and managed to catch one. Flicking it of his claws and onto the bank he tried again. Catching another he did the same. Trying a third time he failed, most the fish had already flashed past him.

Reflectedpaw was sopping wet. She staggered onto the bank, her fur ladden with water. She dripped onto the sand, panting hard. She saw the fish he had caught and she grinned.
"I caught one of those didn't I!" She laughed,"I told you I could!" She was still panting hard, but she shook herself, splaying water everywhere.
"Can I go back and show Shamedstar? Please?"

Smudgedheart laughed at her appeartence. "Sure, we both need to dry off anyway! Come on, you can take a fish and I'll take a fish and the vole!" Collecting his prey he slowly began walking back to camp. It was rather akward caring the large fish over uneven and sometimes slightly boggy land but he managed.
"Um on!" he managed to murmur around the fish. He turned to see if she was coming and nearly tripped on the fish. Regaining his balance he waited for her to catch up.

She grinned, picking the fish up. It was slimy, but she didn't care. She slipped and slid past him, leaving a trail of water behind her.
"Shamedstar!" She mummbled loudly, comming into camp. She had forgotton that her mentor had been trying to sleep.
"SHAMEDSTAR!" She meowed, dropping the fish. She looked around,"COME HEEEEEEERE." She laughed,"HURRY." She looked back and motioned for Smudgedheart to hurry.

Smudgedheart caught up to her and dropped his fish on the fresh-kill pile. Walking back over to Reflectedpaw he tried to quiet her.
"Reflectedpaw, you know Shamedstar was trying to sleep! Don't wake her up, of all the cats she needs sleep the most!" he muttered to her.
Giving up he started grooming his 'fishy' paws. They tasted good, but they smelled bad. With a sigh he gave up on trying to lick of the smell.

Shamedstar's ears twitched slightly, brain jogging into groggy wakefulness as her apprentice's voice echoed over the clearing. One eye slitted open, and her paws pushed her up. She could vaguely hear Smudgedheart's voice muttering something she couldn't understand. With a sigh, she stuck her head out of her den and looked around, spotting her apprentice. "What is it?" She asked, blinking sleepily. "What's going on?"

Reflectedpaw settled herself in front of the fish. She was still dripping wet, and was beginning to wish she had dried herself off,"Look." She motioned to the fish,"I caught it all by myself. Smudgedheart said I should hunt water voles, but I knew I could do it!" She grinned proudly at the fish,"And I just really wanted to show you." She grinned again, flicking a droplet of water off her tail.

ooc; its really funnt cuz she actually didnt catch it xD But she thinkgs she did.

Shamedstar chuckled. "Did you now?" She yawned, stretching her claws out. She would have to talk to Smudgedheart about this later... She nodded a bit. "Nice job. Now... I'm going back to sleep. Please don't wake me up unless it's something urgent..." She glanced back at her apprentice, smirking a bit, and stalked back towards her den.

"Oh. Okay." Reflectedpaw smiled,"I guess you were right, she does need her sleep." She was talking to Smudgedheart, of course.
"Shall I go give this to the elders? They might like a bite of fish. Think they would like to hear my story?" She grinned and didn't wait,"Of course they would! WHO WOULDN'T?" She picked the slippery fish and sprinted to the elders den.
"HELLO?"
